Sweden is preparing to take its lead from the US as a global home design hub.
Sweden’s national home-design magazine Home Design magazine has just published an article about the country’s plans to make its homes more Scandinavian.
Home Design magazine editor-in-chief Jukka Nyholm told the Swedish news agency TT that the magazine is currently working on plans for Sweden’s upcoming home designs.
“We are looking at a number of possible themes, such as the Swedish style, Scandinavian architecture, and Scandinavian furniture, among other possibilities,” Nyholm said.
The Swedish home-style magazine Home Style magazine is publishing an article on Swedish home design next week.
According to Nyholm, Sweden is already well on its way to becoming a hub for home design and it is a good time to make it happen.
“There are some important trends in Swedish home architecture.
We’re really excited about that,” Nyham said.
Sweden is not the only country to be preparing for the coming home design revolution.
According to the American Home Builders Association (AHA), more than 500 new U.S. homes are slated to be built this year alone.
Last year, the AHA said that there were about 5,000 homes under construction, while more than 3 million homes are expected to be completed in the next year.
It is a significant number that is likely to increase the number of new homes being built in the U. S. during the next decade.
The AHA’s latest report predicts that the number one housing market in the country will be residential.
