The tutorial video by Tina Hossain of Nigeria’s Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (MEMOR), titled Nigeria’s home architecture, is being hailed as the first of its kind in the world.
Hossine has built thousands of homes across Nigeria, but this one, the only one in the country to be built on a national scale, was her first ever.
Her video shows the painstaking process of laying out her home’s various components, from the floors to the walls.
Holes were drilled into the concrete and steel to create the foundation.
It took about two months to complete, but after that, the house could be in place.
A new home design trend in Nigeria is the construction of homes with a lot of elements in common.
Hinsa Ntsewa of the MEO and the National Urban Land Institute of Nigeria (NUELI) explains: The whole building is designed to create a shared space for residents to feel safe and to feel welcome in.
She says it’s important to remember that the goal is to create an environment that feels like a community, not a one-way street.
Ntsofa Hossile, a native of Nigeria, has built several homes and homes with many elements in them.
She explains: I’ve been working with a couple of friends of mine, and we had this idea to make a home for the elderly people of our community, because that’s where we all lived and we didn’t want them to have to live alone.
But we couldn’t really afford it, so we had to find something that was affordable.
Ntssofa says she is inspired by the beauty of the landscape.
Nils-Erik Jorgensen from the University of Gothenburg in Sweden, has spent his career studying urban design in Nigeria.
He explains that this is a very global phenomenon.
He says it can be very easy to get caught up in the aesthetic, and then not realise that the whole of Nigeria is built on this theme.
Halsa Ntso, a former Nigerian president, says that when she was a young woman in Nigeria, she wanted to create this home to house her family.
She believes that this trend is growing and will continue to grow in Nigeria as the economy grows and more people start to live here.
A recent study found that there were more than 11 million homes in Nigeria and that the average home cost about $30,000.
That’s more than double the average household income in the United States.
It’s been estimated that the cost of a home in Nigeria has increased by around 10 per cent in the past two years.
But Hossie says it is a trend that needs to be kept alive.
Hints and tips from Niles-Erika Goh, a Nigerian-Canadian living in the US, are featured in the video.
