Fargo, ND, Jan. 27, 2018 — Home designers Fargo Design and Landscape have teamed up with designer home studio F&L to create an innovative, modern, clean and contemporary home design that takes inspiration from the homes of the world’s most iconic brands.
F&L will be showcasing its home design at the 2019 North Dakota Design Show in Fargo on Feb. 7.
The home design combines classic elements with contemporary design elements that incorporate contemporary design language.
“We’ve got a lot of respect for the designers and the artists who created these homes, but we wanted to use the modern and clean design language that you see in homes,” said Chris LeBlanc, chief executive officer of F&l. “So we wanted the design to be a visual reflection of the homes that you and I grew up with.”
LeBlanc said the home is a hybrid between a traditional home design with contemporary elements, with the help of Fife Architecture, an urban design firm based in New York.
The project, which is a collaboration with Landscape Design, is one of several new projects designed to be showcased at the North Dakota show.
LeBlac said the design team had to rethink their plans to showcase the new home design to accommodate the expected large-scale public events and the growing number of people who come to Fargo for the convention center.
“It’s a perfect fit,” LeBlan said.
“This is a big, bold home.
We wanted to bring it to a city that is very popular and has a lot going on, and we also wanted to have a home that was not a typical ‘classic’ design that is really about architecture and design.”
The F&ls home is not a traditional house, but rather an all-new hybrid design that incorporates a number of elements from the traditional design.
Leblanc said they have designed the house to reflect the iconic brands of the past.
The design includes a lot more contemporary elements that are a nod to the way people like to live.
“The design is a blend of the traditional, modern and contemporary design,” Leblan said, adding that F&lrs home design is not as traditional as some of the other home designs out there.
“The design doesn’t look like a traditional, traditional home.
It looks more like a modern, modern home.”
The design was inspired by the brands of iconic brands that are part of the Fargo Design Show, including Dyson, Ikea, Sears, Sears Roebuck, and the National Basketball Association’s Dallas Mavericks.
The F& lans home will also feature the iconic “Pegasus” logo that was created by legendary artist Frank Gehry.
LeBlan added that Fife was able to incorporate modern elements from modern architecture with classic elements that were part of traditional architecture.
“I think the design of this house really represents the idea of modern architecture,” he said.
Le Blanc said that F & lans design will be showcased on the North Dakotas main stage at the show, as well as at the Fargo Convention Center.
He said the company hopes to have the project on display at other North Dakota events, including the F&ln Show.
Leblanc noted that Fargas project was not an immediate challenge to the company, as the home has been designed in a way that it will be a focal point for the Fargo event.
He also said F& lls new home will not be the only home designed in this way.
“It’s going to be very interesting to see what they do with the rest of their home, and then we’ll see what the future holds,” Le Blanc explained.
Fargas design team will have a lot to celebrate in 2019 when they will open the first F< house in the state of North Dakota, and it is a perfect match for the event.
“We’re very excited about that,” Le Bran said of the opening of the first home.
